THIS ONE MOMENT
Let us fill the holes in our hearts
with love, let us look to the One Spirit
which binds us all together - even
the wicked. Let us not repeat
the hatred and spread it
further along. Let us refuse
to walk in fear, but instead
run with courage.
Let us not turn silently inward,
but reach out with compassion
to those around us. Let us
ever keep our eyes cast
upward toward hope, not
down toward doom.
Let us be in love with love,
and live in this moment,
always this one moment, which
will never be ours
again.
